About Sir Syed School of Sports
Sir Syed School of Sports is a Delhi based, non-profitable, non-political movement supported and encouraged by people from all walks of life. Education through physical activities has been the salient feature of true education developed since Plato's time. Healthy body and sound mind is the key to success in life. That place of education concerned with the teaching of skills, knowledge, and attitudes in activities concerned with body management is called physical education, rightly said by Ernest Joke. Sports contribute to social integration and plays important role to provide professional carriers for many.
To encourage youth by personality development, confidence building through sports, we to established Sir Syed School of Sports as an organization with the following aims and objects. :
To establish sports academy and sports in building and development of society,
*To provide possible relief in times of emergency to sports person,
To publish sports organization in which there will be articles of renowned sportsman, Sports journalist & favor international players,
To provide stipend, fulfillment, scholarships etc. for deserving students by looking for talents,
To conduct conference, lectures, seminars, workshops as to organize with the prize may testament,
To provide the govt. to ensure sum % to sports person joins security for life for acts landing sportsman.
The main purpose in bringing out this symposium is to restore the lost glory of Hockey. Which once occupied to find ways and means to the lost pride of place among the sports. It is a well known fact that Hockey brought name and fame for the country. Efforts will be to inculcate interest in Hockey and improve its standards. More importantly to enthuse the youth of this country. The soccer is intended to moralize the academic circles, intellectuals and all those who are concerned about the future of Hockey towards the achievement of this goal.
I am sure if concrete efforts are made towards this direction we will soon be able to achieve our cherished goal to restore this favorite sport and its lost glory.
